Who can use nswbuy? 

nswbuy offers a wide range of products and services through state contracts at competitive prices and with benefits for your agency. All state government bodies with the exception of state owned corporations are required to buy from these contracts.

There are some cases where you may apply for an exemption from buying from the contracts. You can also apply to the State Contracts Control Board for a purchasing delegation. The board has authority to approve delegations, under the Public Sector Management (Goods and Services) Regulation.  To find out what options are available for your agency, contact us.

When you procure goods and services you are required by government to apply the tendering guidelines and procurement code of practice.
